Sofa, table, bed, kitchen unit, floor lamp, workbench, coffee cup: this category collects models from everyday life and the furnishings for the houses in the Buildings category. The sofa from the examples is a typical case; many models here use fewer than 50 bricks and take ten minutes to build. Building instructions and a parts list come with every model.

Furniture looks right as soon as the proportions do: table legs of 1×1 bricks, seats of plates, backrests of bricks topped with tiles so the surface is smooth. Combine heights with the rule “three plates make one brick” so that a tabletop and a chair back end flush. Tiles and round plates turn a stack into a piece of furniture: a round plate as a knob, two tiles as cushions. If you furnish a whole room, build the furniture on one shared baseplate.
