Vehicles

This category has everything that drives, floats or flies: cars, trucks, tractors, boats, locomotives, planes and rockets. Each model has building instructions and a parts list, and many use fewer than 100 bricks. The racer and the rocket from the examples are good first models. Each takes about half an hour.

Vehicles need only a few basic shapes. Build the body from plates and bricks, add slopes for the bonnet and the back, tiles for windows and round plates for headlights. Wheels are round bricks fixed sideways to a plate. They don't turn, but the model stands straight. Keep the axles at the same height, otherwise the vehicle tilts. If you rebuild a model from here, mark it as Built it or publish a remix in a different colour.
